Quixote's Cove
Quixote's Cove is an independent bookstore located in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, Nepal. It serves as both a bookshop and a reading library, specializing in English-language literature.
Quixote's Cove specializes in fiction, business and philosophy books and provides a unique Nepali spin on the old bookshop experience. Quixote's Cove also functions as an events management company for literary and art events. It organizes QC Awards: an annual inter-school literary contest, Tavern Tales: a monthly literary event, book clubs, creative writing groups and art events. It was a primary contributor towards the launching and promotion of Manjushree Thapa's new book "The country is yours" and Sujeev Shakya's "Unleashing Nepal" in Oct. 2009. It has organized book tours for these two books and has also organized a book tour for Sushma Joshi's "End of the World."
