Patrick Vande Walle
Born May 8, 1960, in Ronse (in French, Renaix), Belgium, Patrick Vande Walle is an Internet engineer, currently serving on the Internet Society's board of trustees. He is a member of the At-Large Advisory Committee and the Security and Stability Committee of ICANN, and also the founder of the DotSport Registryproject, an applicant for the .sport TLD. Additionally, he is an official at the European Commission.
Early life
Previously, he held positions with Fnac, WordPerfect and Paribas bank in Brussels,Belgium. He was the founder and chairman of the ISOC Luxembourg chapter of the Internet Society.
