Omega is a roguelike computer game, first programmed by Laurence Brothers in 1987. It was one of the first roguelikes to feature a large countryside and elaborate plot development.
Genre contemporaries include Larn and Moria.
Versions
At present, development continues sporadically as a SourceForge project directed by William Tanksley.
Independent of core development, Omega has been ported to Microsoft Windows and BeOS.
