History
Mount Carmel is a minority institution run by a registered society called Mount Carmel School Society, a protestant church-based organization. Mount Carmel School started in July 1972 with 12 students in Anand Niketan. Today this branch has nearly 2500 students with a staff of 150 and 2 beautiful buildings. The Dwarka Branch was started in April 1997, the silver Jubilee year of the mother school, with 165 students. Both the schools are from nursery to class 12th and recognized by the Delhi Administration and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The Business School, created in 2007, is the youngest member of the Mount Carmel family. Currently it caters to the needs of students looking at actively pursuing studies in Information Technology and Business. Mount Carmel is committed to the pursuit of knowledge in an environment of faith. The main aim of MCTBS is to help each student to develop an all round personality by giving value based education. A strong foundation in education and a sense of responsibility are developed in students through strict discipline and by setting goals. We encourage the attitude of teamwork and interdependence among our students. We believe in trueness of life because it reflects what we are. We want the young youth to grow in a true sense so that the world can grow ahead.
Programmes
All courses we conduct are designed to be strictly in accordance with the requirements of the current market scenario. Personal attention to candidates is an integral part of our programme. The courses GeneRally aim at providing the candidates with a key and a method to unravel the intricacies of the subject with special reference to the market demand. Teaching is directed towards developing mental alertness of the candidates. The faculty members remain in constant touch with the Corporate and the market to evolve a properly planned course of instruction.
Currently, we are offering undergraduate and graduate level courses in management and in information technology.
