- In 1992 Metida became a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI);
- In 1993 Reda Zaboliene was accepted to the Lithuanian Patent Attorneys Association;
- In 1994 Metida joined the International Trademark Association (INTA);
- In 1995 Reda Zaboliene began to take part in the activities of the International Federation of Industrial Property Attorneys (FICPI);
- In 2004 Reda Zaboliene joined the European Community Trademark Association (ECTA);

History
Metida Law Firm of Reda Zaboliene was established in 2005, but before that it had been a patent and trademark agency for 14 years.
The agency was founded in 1991 by Rita Laurinaviciute, Violete Sutkiene and Reda Zaboliene just after the establishment of the State Patent Bureau of the Republic of Lithuania. After the announcement of the examination for a license of a patent attorney in Lithuania, Rita Laurinavičiūtė and Reda Žabolienė were among the first ones to pass it and became entitled to engage in the patent attorney practice.
Founders
Reda Zaboliene is the managing partner of Metida, an attorney-at-law and a Lithuanian and European patent attorney who has been working in the IP law sector since 1991.
