Masood T P

Masood TP (born 3 July 1983) is an Indian film producer and finance controller who works primarily in the Malayalam film industry. He is known for producing Diwanjimoola Grand Prix, Thattum Vellattam, and Anomie.

Early life and career

Masood TP was born on 3 July 1983 in Kannur, Kerala.

He began his career in the Malayalam film industry in production finance and accounting. His early credits include Adaminte Makan Abu (2011), directed by Salim Ahamed, for which he worked as Finance Controller.

Adaminte Makan Abu won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film at the 59th National Film Awards and was selected as India's official entry for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film at the 84th Academy Awards.

He later worked on Kunjananthante Kada (2013) and Pathemari (2015) in production finance and management roles.

Pathemari went on to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam at the 63rd National Film Awards.

Producing career

Masood made his debut as a producer with the 2018 Malayalam sports comedy drama Diwanjimoola Grand Prix, directed by Anil Radhakrishnan Menon and starring Kunchacko Boban, Nyla Usha and Vinayakan.

The film received coverage from several national and regional entertainment publications during its theatrical release.

In January 2020, Masood TP was announced as one of the producers of Thattum Vellattam, directed by Mridul Nair and starring Asif Ali and Soubin Shahir.

In 2026, he served as co-producer and executive producer of the Malayalam mystery thriller Anomie, directed by Riyas Marath and starring Rahman and Bhavana.
