Manjinder Sandhu

Dr Manjinder Sandhu (M.D., D.N.B., D.M.) is an Indian intervention Cardiologist. He completed his MBBS and MD (Gold Medallist) from Pune University, DNB (Medicine) in 1993, DM (Cardiology) from PGIMER, Chandigarh in 2001. He is a life member at the Association of Physicians in India and a member of the American Heart Association, European Society of Cardiology, and European Association of Percutaneous Interventions. He is a fellow of American College of Cardiology and Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.

Early Life & Career

He joined The INDIAN Armed Forces, after he graduated from AFMC Pune and served till 2010. He took premature retirement as Colonel. He has served as the accompanying cardiologist to the President of India. His clinical focus is in complex coronary interventions like Primary angioplasty, Bifurcation lesions, Chronic total occlusions and Left Main lesions. He received a Commendation by Ministry of Social Welfare, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, for disaster management operations along with United Nations Staff during the disaster of 2003. As of 2017, he has performed over 20,000 procedure. His clinical focus is in complex coronary interventions like Primary angioplasty, Bifurcation lesions, Chronic total occlusions and Left Main lesions.
