Kunamnenivaripalem

Kunamnenivaripalem also known as K.V.Palem or more colloquially as Kondropalem among villagers is a village which is located in the Chimakurthy mandal of Prakasam districtt of Andhra Pradesh. The people of this villege are hard working and Farming is the main activity of the them. The villege panchayat is divided into Ten wards. A Government elementary school, a private school run by a non-profit oriented society established by a few forward looking, development oriented villagers called P.L.R Bros Educational Society (previously Pragati Padam Telugu Medium Convent, abbreviated as PPTMC)cater to the needs of children for elementary education. The old temple of the vedic god Rama located in the middle of the village is very popular among villagers. The more recent Anjaneya swamy temple is much visited not just by villagers but by devotees from other villages.

The main crop cultivated is Paddy during Kharif in the lands irrigated by the tank which gets inflow from the Nagarjuna sagar project (NSP) right canal. In the fields with no much irrigation choices plantation crops Subabul and Eucalyptus are priferred. Tobacco has been the main cash crop since many years and Flue curing barns of Tobacco are seen in K.V.Palem just like any other Tobacco growing village in the region. Some of the other crops cultivated include chillies,Greengram,Blackgram etc.
