Jordan Gavin
Jordan Gavin (born September 22, 1982) is an Australian ice hockey and inline hockey player currently playing for the Canberra Knights in the Australian Ice Hockey League.
Playing career
Gavin first played for the Canberra Knights of the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) in 2006. During the 2006 AIHL season Gavin recorded a personal best of 12 points, six goals and six assists. The following season he repeated his best, again with six goals and six assists. Gavin is currently in his sixth season with the Knights and is playing in the 2011 AIHL season.
Gavin was first called up to represent Australia in 2011 where he joined the national senior team to compete at the 2011 IIHF World Championship Division II Group A tournament which was being held in Melbourne, Australia. Australia won the tournament and Gavin finished the tournament with one goal and six penalties in minutes.
As a inline hockey player Gavin has played for the national inline hockey team on three occasions. In 2008 he represented Australia at the 2008 IIHF Men's InLine Hockey World Championship Division I tournament, scoring seven goals. At the 2009 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship Division I tournament he scored six goals and three assists and finished with a plus-minus of +5. The following year Gavin represented Australia for the third year in a row in the Division I tournament, finishing with four points in six games.
