2011 Java earthquake

The 2011 Java earthquake was a magnitude 6.8 earthquake that occurred on 3 April 2011 at 20:06 UTC, with its EPICENTER 241 km East-North-East of Christmas Island, and 412 km South-East of Jakarta, Indonesia. The quake was reportedly felt in some neighboring countries, in Singapore, one report claims that a quake ranging from magnitude 3-3.9 was felt.

Following the quake it was reported that there was one casualty, though only minor damage was reported. The quake was followed by two other tremors, the first, a magnitude 6.0, struck Talaud, Indonesia on April 5. On April 6, Sumatra, Indonesia was struck by a magnitude 6.1.
