Jason Pierce (born in East Moline, Illinois) is a American professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He is a cast member of SpikeTV's The Ultimate Fighter: United States vs. United Kingdom.

Biography
Jason attended East Moline High School, while there Jason was a standout soccer player winning numerous awards in the sport. After graduating, Jason was awarded a full ride soccer scholarship to the University of Illinois at Springfield. Besides playing soccer, Jason also graduated with a degree in Communications and Mass Media. Following graduation, Pierce returned to East Moline, Illinois to coach high school soccer.

Mixed Martial Arts
Early Career
While in high school, Jason would do occasional sessions of the martial art, Kuk Sool. Jason got his start into mixed martial arts when he was coaching high school soccer and a player's father invited Jason to come train at a local gym for no cost. Then in 2008, Jason moved out to Bettendorf, Iowa where Pat Miletich had his camp Miletich Fighting Systems. Pierce began fighting for the Miletich team as a middleweight and currently has an undefeated record in mixed martial arts.

Jason currently has a blue-belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

The Ultimate Fighter
Pierce appears on The Ultimate Fighter: United States vs. United Kingdom as a welterweight. Although he struggled to make weight, he defeated Steve Berger by unanimous decision in an elimination match earning him a spot on the United States team.

Pierce was to have the last fight in the opening round welterweight tournament against Dave Faulkner. Prior to the fight, Pierce demonstrated a lack of adherence to the training by walking out during a training session, gaining a reputation as a negative fighter . Despite a staph infection, doctors concluded Pierce was capable of fighting, if he chose to do so. Coach Dan Henderson insisted that Pierce demonstrate a strong will to fight, but Pierce failed to do so when asked by UFC President Dana White. As a result of his lack of enthusiasm, Pierce was forced to forfeit the opportunity to fight. Members of his own team, including Dan Henderson, felt he was afraid to fight and would have lost regardless.
