James Blanshard

James Stephen Blanshard was born is Bristol, and lived in Clevedon in Somerset and Gravesend in Kent before moving to Torquay to play for there Youth team, he is 16 years old and will be 17 on the 17th March 2010, which will mean he becomes elligible for a Professional contract.

Career

James is a footballer for Torquay United FC, He is a member of the Youth squad, he plays CF and has a goalscoring record of 24 goals in 21 games for his youth side, including 5 goals against stafford Rangers Academy in the 3rd round of the FA Youth Cup on 24th January 2009 in there 6-2 victory but was Sent off in the next round in a 4-1 loss to Bristol Rovers U-18's

He has drawn interest from various clubs including, Crystal Palace, Bristol City and Plymouth Argyle, but has made sure that he wants to commit a future to TUFC.

He was On the Bench for Torquay United first team against Crewe Alexandra on 2 February.
