Eugeniy Derevianko

Eugeniy Derevianko (born 7 January 1968 in Kiev, in the Ukrainian SSR of the Soviet Union) is a Ukrainian expressionist sculptor, artist, and art teacher.

Biography

As a talented boy from an artistic family, Eugeniy defined his life way in the Republic art school of Taras Shevchenko (1987). After graduating the school he went to the National academy of fine art and architecture (1995). Then he became a member of the National union of artists of Ukraine (2003). Recently E. Derevianko founded his own art school "Gulfstream" (2009).

Creation

Eugeniy Derevianko works in the style of expressionism with elements of symbolism.

Favourite art technique - levkas combined with the technology of ancient murals of the 11th-13th centuries. Materials operated by a talented sculptor - bronze, wood, stone, ceramics.

One of the greatest Eugeniy's works is the monumental sculpture - Monument of Nicolet Svyatosha (set in Kiev).

Eugeniy Derevianko is an author of the sculptures of Zepter International concern (Ukraine), International Festival of Poetry "Kiev Lavra", fashion and advertising "Black Pearl" and "Magic Needle", "Children of Ukraine - the world's children" of the National Fund for Social Protection of Mothers and Children "Ukraine to Children", pharmaceutical concern "Bayer" (Germany) and many others.

The sculptor's creativity is widely represented not only in Ukraine but also abroad (Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Canada, United States). Works are being bought for public and private collections.
