Ian Charles (Chaz)

Ian Charles aka Chaz is a drummer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter.

Career

UK born drummer of some repute having worked with a multitude of bands and artists including Warhead, Starfighters, Little Big Horn, Family Cat, DT'S(Stevie Marriots Band), Trevor Burton, E-Numbers, Vincent Flatts and many more to numerous to mention.

Multi-instrumentalist whose songwriting and production ability came to the fore working with Little Big Horn under the guidance of Malcolm Young and a publishing deal with J. Albert & Son followed when the band ended.

Mentored predominantly by George Young (and Harry Vanda) a full spectrum of songs and diverse styles emerged.

Chaz has since worked with a variety of artists as a songwriter and on a number of projects as a producer and has had involvement with many major and independent labels over the years.

In 2005 his catalogue went to EMI with the exception of Australasia.

Currently believed to be working on a new project with long time friend and fellow drummer Oscar Harrison(Ocean Colour Scene).
