Paul Hanley (musician)
Paul Hanley (born 18 February 1964) is an English musician, based in Manchester. He is best known for playing drums in The Fall and The Lovers.
Career
Paul Hanley was the drummer in The Fall between 1980 and 1985. For much of that time he was part of a two-drummer line-up with Karl Burns and also played keyboards. He was preceded as a member of The Fall by his brother, Steve Hanley, who remained in the band for a further 18 years. After leaving The Fall, Paul and Steve formed ARK before moving on to Tom Hingley and the Lovers. Hingley, himself, was the erstwhile singer with Manchester alumni Inspiral Carpets. The Lovers have released one album, called "Abba Are The Enemy" and are currently working on a second, "Highlights", it will be released in late 2007.
Personal life
Paul Hanley is married and has three children.
