Hyalogic's product patents
Synthovial Seven was the first product released in the 2001 when Hyalogic was founded. Hyalogic owners Darren Landis and Mark Ganaban entered into a license agreement that allowed Hyalogic to use the pending patent (later approved in 2003) on a high molecular weight hyaluronic acid solution for oral use known today as Synthovial Seven. This patent outlined a list of methods that are described for relieving discomforts associated with osteoarthritis or fibromyalgia. The methods comprise The Step of delivering by oral ingestion a nutritional supplement consisting essentially of an effective amount of hyaluronic acid, or a salt or digest thereof, and a food acceptable carrier, wherein the effective amount of hyaluronic acid, or a salt or digest thereof, is from about 0.1 .mu.g to about 400 .mu.g/kg of body weight.
HylaRub is another 'flagship' product for Hyalogic. HylaRub (as well as HyalunRub) is designed to use a targeted delivery system of hyaluronic acid and other moisturizers to an applied area. The HA then proceeds to help reduce inflammation and discomfort in skin, muscles and bones. This joint cream uses a hyaluronic acid patent owned by Dr. Karen Brown. Dr. Brown is currently on staff at Hyalogic as a science consultant and product formulator. This patent discloses the discovery that a pharmaceutical composition containing complex carbohydrates and natural or synthetic essential oils can work effectively as a topical pharmaceutical composition. Such pharmaceutical compositions reduce inflammation, assist in wound healing, protect against bruising, relieve itching, relieve pain and swelling and treat topical bacterial infections such as acne and decubitus ulcers. Such pharmaceutical compositions can be administered to mammals including humans. Also included in this invention are methods to deliver topically applied macromolecules into the tissue of mammals and methods of blocking the adhesion cascade.

Hyalun and Hyalun PRO are equine joint supplements that are a part of the Hyalogic Animal Health Division line of products. Hyalun, released first, was designed to supplement a recreational or horse that is not subject to large amounts of joint stress.
Hyalun PRO
Hyalun PRO supplements 30mg of hyaluronic acid per administration. This larger amount of HA is intended to support competition horses that are subject to large amounts of joint stress.
