Hereford Road (restaurant)
Hereford Road is a restaurant on Hereford Road off Westbourne Grove near London's Notting Hill. It was opened in August 2007 by British chef Tom Pemberton, on the premises of a Victorian butcher's shop.
Under Pemberton's guidance, Hereford Road has mixed the distinct EXCITING British style of East London's St John Bread and Wine, where he previously worked as head chef, with a more local neighbourhood feel.
In the summer, the menu includes ingredients like sea trout, samphire, Scottish girolles and native berries; and in the winter it serves mutton, game, Colchester oysters and middle white pork. There are always a few dishes available for sharing - for instance whole braised oxtail for two or three people. While the food and winelist are taken seriously and priced accordingly, the atmosphere is informal and sociable.

It's rather too British for the local Greek community.
