Ex. Director JAYCEE Ed. & Lib. Foundation in Rhode Island

Jack Lancellotta is a public service administrator in Rhode Island who served on all-levels of government. Born to parents of Joseph Ralph and Mary Grace (DeGregory) Lancellotta on August 25, 1955 in Providence, he has siblings Joey (disabled from 6 years-old) & Jimmy (struck down as pedestrian when six-years-old). He was a soloist trumpet player at West Warwick High School since being a violinist from his elementary school days and performed at several recitals, including marching bands.

He's been a home-town leader since running for local Town Council in America's Bi-Centennial year and subsequently held numerous appointed and elected positions in the Town of W. Warwick & state of Rhode Island.

He attended Roger Williams College, 1982 with certification in Paralegal Studies, AS in Political Sci. cum laude, Roger Williams University, 1983 & BS in Pub. Administration cum laude, Roger Williams University, 1984 during which he suffered and fought to recover from an extraordinary industrial accident.

He has served or been appointed to numerous non-profit and governmental panels as the Rhode Island JAYCEES ( U.S. Junior Chamber)from 1976 to present, municipal boards as the Town of W. Warwick from 1979 through 2019, including being elected to the Rhode Island Democratic Committee ( as an attending conference delegate to the National Democratic Committee in 1983) in a 1984 regional primary. He's listed in Who's Who in American Politics.


Lancellotta was an at-large and ward council candidate in 1976, 78 & 80, he served in numerous policy advisory posts at the RI Attorney General's Office of Public Protection in 1982, City of Warwick's Community & Economic Development Department in 1983, the Narragansett Bay Commission in 1984 and the office of U.S. Senator Claiborne Pell in 1986. In 1990, he was appointed Executive Director of the JAYCEE Education & Library Foundation, a fiscal and organizational public entity to enhance the educational, charitable, leadership development for community action programs. He has received numerous awards and citations for public service, non-profit management and environmental initiatives from both Presidents Bill Clinton & George Bush, Sr. (1992-96), the state of Rhode Island's Governors [& Lt. Governors]
(1989,1998-99, 2006, 2007 & 2017) and General Assemblies ( 1990, 2007, 2017) including Towns & Cities such as his hometown of West Warwick and the Cities of Cranston, Providence & Warwick, Rhode Island. He's been honored to also receive public service achievement via several Rhode Island Congressman & Senators

He has received numerous awards and citations for public service, non-profit management and environmental initiatives from both Presidents Bill Clinton & George Bush, Sr. (1992-96), the state of Rhode Island's Governors [& Lt. Governors] (1989,1998-99, 2006, 2007 & 2017) and General Assemblies ( 1990, 2007, 2011 2017) including Towns & Cities such as his hometown of West Warwick and the Cities of Cranston, Providence & Warwick, Rhode Island. He's been honored to also receive public service achievement via several Rhode Island Congressman & Senators including Congressmen Kennedy (2001) & Langevin( 2007 * 2017), Senators Reed (2001, 2007 & 20017) & Whitehouse ( 2007 & 2017) and the Presidential Lifetime Service award, President George Bush, 2005 among other accolades.
