Enrique de la Uz Lopez

Enrique de la Uz Lopez was born in Havana, Cuba, in March 21, in 1944. He develops the Photography. In 1967 he studied photography with Raúl Martínez, Havana, Cuba.

In 1982 he presented Pequeño concierto para piedra y cámara fotográfica, Premio de Fotografía Cubana 1982, in Centro de Arte Boyeros, Havana, Cuba. And in 1998 he exhibited Punta Alegre. Enrique de la Uz. Fotografías, in the Fototeca de Cuba, in Havana, Cuba.

Collective Exhibitions

He was part of many collective exhibitions, among them we can mention in 1970 the Salón 70, in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Havana, Cuba. In 1991 he was one of the selected artists to conform Fotografía Cubana Contemporánea en 150 Imágenes, Taller Internacional de la Imagen Fotográfica (parallel to la Cuarta Bienal de La Habana), in the Centro de Prensa Internacional, in Havana, Cuba. In 1992 some of his works were selected to conform Kubanische Fotografie 1959-1992, in Neue Gesellschaft für Bildende Kunst, in Berlin, Germany. In 1995 he also included in the 1er. Salón de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo, in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Havana, Cuba. And in 1998 he participated in the collective exhibition: Cuba: 100 años de fotografía, in the Casa de América, Madrid, Spain.
