Doctor Able Cuvier

Doctor Able Cuvier is a fictional character from Batman Beyond. He is one of the enemies of the new Batman. Cuvier was VOICED by Ian Buchanan.

TV Series

Cuvier is the main villain from episode Splicers. In the episode, he makes A Plan to make teenage henchmen by splicing them with his formula. In order to find out what Cuvier's scheme is, Terry spies on him, and has learned that he plans first to kill the mayor of Gotham. After Batman was stopped, Cuvier infects him with a Man-Bat serum before escaping. After Batman stops his henchmen, Cuvier was upset that his men had failed. Upon learning that Batman is coming, Cuvier orders his henchmen to attack Batman, while he infects himself with the serums. Batman encounters Cuvier as a Chimera. Batman keeps on injecting the doctor with the serums long enough for him to lose control of his transformation. Just then, an explosion was created. In the end, Cuvier has died when he stays at his lab after the explosion.

Cuvier appears in Zoologically Explanation issue in the comics.

Powers and Abilities

In the series, Cuvier uses his genius in creating serums. In his transformation of a Chimera, he gains super-strength from the comibinations of the serums. He cannot take control of his transformation when he is injected with too many serums.
