Daniel Tillman

Daniel "Dan" Tillman (born March 14, 1989) is an American professional baseball pitcher currently in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He previously played with Los Angeles Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers minor league teams. He attended Florida Southern College.

Baseball career

Minor league career

Tillman was selected with the 81st overall pick in the 2010 Major League Baseball draft by the Los Angeles Angels. On June 20, 2010, the Angels officially signed Tillman, and the next day he was assigned to the Orem Owlz. In 22 games there, he posted a 1.95 ERA and earned 10 saves in 32 1/3 innings pitched. On April 4, 2011, he was promoted to the then Angels Class A affiliate, the Cedar Rapids Kernels. In 66 1/3 innings pitched there, he collected a 2.04 ERA and 12 saves in 15 opportunities. On August 18, 2011, he was promoted to the Advanced-A team, the Inland Empire 66ers. In seven appearances, Tillman went two-for-two in saves, won one game, and struck out eight batters. On March 26, 2014, the 66ers and Angels released Tillman. The Los Angeles Dodgers signed Tillman to a minor-league deal on April 2nd, 2014. With Advanced A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes and Double AA Tulsa Drillers, his won-loss record was 1-4, and compiled a 2.76 ERA in 48 relief appearances with seven saves. On November 6, 2015, Tillman elected his free agency and was later signed by the Milwaukee Brewers to a minor-league deal on December 14, 2015.
