Curtis Plum
Curtis Alan Plum was an alternative hip hop artist based in Boise, Idaho.
Career
Curtis Plum was signed to Strange Famous Records after contacting Sage Francis via Myspace. He released the debut album, Call My Cellphone, on the label in 2010. It was described by NPR as "10 songs of minimalist nerdcore hip-hop, full of self-produced Casio beats, computer effects and little else."
Arson charges
In September 2015, Plum was charged with arson for setting fire to several propane tanks outside Walmart in Boise, ID. He got convicted in November 2021 and got about 10 years probation, until May 30th, 2031.
