Alan Pateman

Alan Pateman (born on January 27, 1954) a well known international leading figure within the global Christian community today and is best described as an Apostolic Prophetic Educator and Connector. He has been featured on national and international TV and radio networks, and is the author of several books and teaching materials / correspondence courses which are regularly distributed globally along with teaching audios. He is President and Founder of Alan Pateman Ministries International (APMI).

Alan has ministered widely throughout Europe, Africa and United States for many years, and has lived in a number of different nations throughout his comprehensive and versatile ministry. He is the father of 6 children (with a growing number of grandchildren!). Alan and his wife Jenny currently reside in Bückeburg Germany where the APMI International Headquarters is based.

Early life

Alan Pateman was born in Dorking, UK on January 27, 1954; dedicated by both mother and (Church of England) priest to God, after it appeared he would die as a baby. Having recovered Alan grew from being the weakest of his family to the strongest of 5 boys. Having dedicated most of his formative years to sports, running, body building and martial arts Alan remained totally unaware that his life had already been dedicated to God! But in the course of time God made His claim on that early dedication and brought Alan to a place of radical conversion and called him to a world wide ministry. In his first encounter with the Holy Spirit Alan rose from the floor a radically changed man! His life would never be the same...

After responding to the call on his life, Alan began moving in the power of the Holy Spirit directly. Never a dull moment! He attended “Roffey Place” Bible College and for a brief period of time, took up the opportunity of being on staff there...

Although the power of God was constant to pray for others, Alan was also called to preach. Being illiterate he agonized for years before preaching. It was at the age of 27 before Alan could adequately read or write but this was no hindrance to God! And from this very humble beginning the Lord has raised Dr. Alan up as a highly recommended leader around the world today. The apostolic and prophetic call on his life is authentic and recognized amongst leaders in the Body of Christ globally. And today as a successful author and educator he remains dedicated to training and equipping students and leaders around the nations. Giving life to a prophetic utterance that commissioned him many years ago to raise up an army of warriors for the end times to Glorify God. Warriors of righteousness educated in all things pertaining to God; ready and fully equipped to obey the call on their lives.

Education

From September 1985 to July 1986 Alan attended Roffey Place Bible college, then some years later he was awarded a Doctorate of Divinity(2009 - Honoris Causa) for recognition of his life time achievements by the International College of Excellence, (President: Dr Robb Thompson USA) and Life Christian University (President: Dr Douglas Wingate USA - Internationally Accredited Universities) where he has also earned a Bachelor of Theology (2009 - Matriculated), a Master of Arts in Theology(2009 - Summa Cum Laude) and a Doctor of Ministry in Theology(2008 - Summa Cum Laude).

Ministry

After spanning the globe, and having been in ministry successfully for 25 years, this rapidly growing ministry of Alan Pateman Ministries International (APMI) continues as a multi-faceted organization working largely with schools, churches, leaders and students. Reaching out to the poor and needy extensively in Africa as well as meeting the needs of those on his spiritual and geographical doorstep!

To date Dr Alan has ministered in over 40 countries world wide and continues to broaden his travels in ever increasing circles of influence; recognized internationally as an author, teacher, orator, educator, Bishop, Father and friend to many. Alan has lived in several different nations in the course of his ministry and has written a number of books some of which have been published in several different languages; on such topics as: spiritual warfare, spiritual maturity, deliverance, healing, Israel and the end times. This includes writing curriculums, numerous teaching manuals and many other teaching materials.

Also Alan and his wife Jenny have together founded an apostolic platform called “Connecting for Excellence” specifically targeted to leaders and building lasting relationships, initiated out of divine connections. Along with BFE Business for Excellence which is their newest venture! Reaching out to business people creating a forum for exchange and divine prosperity.

It’s an understatement to say that this has been an ‘awesome journey’ for someone like Dr Alan... a man once considered a physical giant and a muscular champion, was in reality a marginal illiterate, who was unable to communicate well. Yet God took the young man that he was of zero academic talent and of total educational bankruptcy to make him the leader of leaders that he is today and the professor of his own accredited university! Taking the foolish things to confound the wise, God has constantly made ways where there are no ways for this man and his ministry which continues to take Alan all over the world building, planting, training, educating and equipping the Saints! Today Dr Alan encourages everyone he meets. “…never quit.” There is nothing God can not do! All things are possible.

Today he stands with spiritual weight and stature as an apostle to the nations making decrees and declarations as a prophetic voice with a humble spirit of restoration; often going into those dark and indelicate places that are not popular, comfortable or trendy! Willing constantly to go where many have chosen not to tread; counting all things but dung in comparison to the call of God.

Accomplishments

In the year 2002 after a life changing trip to KasselKassel Germany, the decision was made to move the APMI European office to Germany. The purpose was to align the ministry with what God was doing "..within Germany, through Germany and beyond." Alan then developed APCD, the German Ministry which is a registered Trust (The full title being "Alan Pateman Christl. Dienst e.V.") APCD is a nondenominational ministry and is not part of another group but will continue to serve the whole Body of Christ, whether church, fellowship meetings, bible schools or conferences etc..

The following aspects of the ministry are defined here - Founder and President: Alan Pateman Ministries International(APMI) APMI is a multifaceted organization – apart from traveling apostolically world wide – APMI apostolically umbrellas all other activities which have developed over the last 25 years. Founder and Host: Connecting for Excellence (CFE) CFE is a servant’s ministry where we look to serve leaders for a whole weekend – where leaders are able to get away from familiar surroundings and get amongst their peers and relate. This is an obligation free environment but where leaders can come together to connect and build relationships with other fellow leaders from around the world. Founder and Overseer: International Family Network(IFN) Over the years God has increasingly given Alan the responsibility of ordaining and overseeing churches in assistance to strengthen. Ordaining more than 300 leaders to date; Alan was also ordained as a 'Bishop' on the 9th May 2004 (by Bishop Charles Kiwanku Kaisaali of the Power Centre Church Entebbe, Uganda) for the Churches he oversees in Uganda. His vision for this particular network is for the development of relationships which the Holy Spirit has and is developing for this end time move of God. These relationships look for apostolic support and encouragement. We must get underneath in order to enhance others so that they may become successful. Founder and President: LifeStyle International Christian University(LICU) LICU is a qualified and internationally recognized English speaking University – emphasizing on correspondence courses and developing extension campuses: awarding credits that find acceptation within the international Christian world. LICU Offers Christian degree courses in undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate studies, enabling students to study through perhaps a period of seven years to fulfill a doctoral program.
