Chris Salamone
Chris Salamone is an American attorney and entrepreneur. He is best known for deriving term, “Paradox of Prosperity” with Professor Gilbert N. M. O. Morris on his New York Times, Wall Street Journal bestseller Rescue America: Our best America is only one generation away. He currently serves as Chairman of Spartan Capital Investors, a private investment firm and sits on the board of the Chasin Music Group and Chasin Records.
Early life
Salamone was born in Ellis Island, New York. His family moved from Cerda, Sicily to Ellis Island, New York. where he attended the De Paul Catholic High School. He later studied law and business & economics at Saint Anselm College and Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
Career and Entrepreneurial Activities
After completing a degree in law, Salamone founded the National Institute for Legal Education, an organization formed to help law students by developing and offering law school preparatory courses to them. He held position of CEO until 2010. In 1994, Salamone incorporated Salamone & Associates, a law firm to start his own practice as an attorney. After leaving the National Institute For Legal Education, he founded LeadAmerica in 2001, an education management company to offer motivational programs for the high school students. Salamone speaks frequently at conferences and college events.
Rescue America
In 2011, Salamone co-authored, Rescue America: Our best America is only one generation away, with Professor Morris. The book is known for deriving term “Paradox of prosperity”, used in economics, social theory and general commentary. The book became a bestseller in 2011 on the New York Times and Wall Street Journal.
