Datta Putrudu (English: Adapted Son) is a 1972 Telugu, drama film, produced by Tammareddy Krishna Murthy on Ravindra Art Pictures banner and directed by T. Lenin Babu. Starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Vanisri in the lead roles and music composed by T. Chalapathi Rao.

Plot

Ramanna (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) is adopted the kid by Dharmaiah (Mikkilineni) & Parvathamma (Shanta Kumari) couple which irks Parvathamma's brother Sheshayya (Nagabhushanam) who has an eye on their property. He frames Dharmaiah in a [...] case and sends him to jail. Ramanna takes care of Parvathamma and her daughter Saroja (Venneradai Nirmala). Saroja studies in the city where she falls in love with Raja (Ramakrishna) son of Seshayya. Seshayya & Ramanna both oppose their marriage. How it all ends on a happy note is the rest of the story.
