Catgut (band)
Catgut is an unsigned UK based alternative music act, described as 'low-tech voice, keyboard and guitar based music, dirty videos, bloody artwork - a twisted, vocalised gameboy soundtrack'. The band have released several EP's online as free downloads and have received airplay on conventional radio shows, most notably BBC Radio 1 where Catgut received their first nationwide airplay, as well as numerous number of podcasts. The song "Get a Job You Lazy [...]" (from "the Catgut EP") was included as an item on the short-lived "Best of the Worst" podcast, where the track received positive, albeit snide, criticism from the host.
All of Catgut's digital downloads are DRM-free and released under the Creative Commons license. Catgut is Podsafe and can be downloaded free and legally from the Podsafe Music Network as well as other social network websites.
