Benjamin Hundeyin
Benjamin Hundeyin is an Assistant Commissioner of Police of the Nigeria Police Force. He was the Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force between September 2025 to March 2026 under IGP Kayode Egbetokun. He was succeeded by DCP Anthony Okon Placid. His tenure was marked by ACTIVE engagement on old and new media. At the time of handing over, he was the police officer with the most followers in the country, with over 240, 000 followers.
Education
Hundeyin earned his bachelor's degree in English Language from the Lagos State University, and a master's degree in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan. He equally holds a Certificate in Civil–Military Coordination from the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Training Centre, Jaji, Kaduna State, Nigeria.
Career
In 2020, Hundeyin served as a member of the Nigerian contingent to the United Nations–African Union Mission in Darfur, Sudan. In March 2022, he replaced Adekunle Ajisebutu as the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command. In August 2025, Hundeyin took over as Lagos Force Public Relations Officer from Adekunle Ajisebutu.
Hundeyin is an associate of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, the International Public Relations Association, and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
