The spot was an ultimately, non stop, club which was located in Waycross North Carolina on Peg Leg- Trinity Church Rd, the spot was run by the two co-founders Adrian Romeo Mathis, and his cousin Elliot Joel Mathis. The two cousins came up with the idea in mid 2003, by far starting an unbelievably, non stop, action packed era for all the people within a 20 mile radius. The spots official Grand Opening was on July 4th, 2003 when the cousins decided to throw a major celebration for the 4th of July literally making an impact and showing how easy it is to start something from nothing. When the spot started out it was just an average old trailer which use to be owned by the two co founders cousin Darlene Middleton. The spot had 2 bedrooms, Two baths, kitchen, living room, etc. But with the creative minds of the cousins, they knocked down the main wall making a dance floor for all clubbas around, made a v.i.p room, separate bathrooms for men and women, and a separated room for people who needed their privacy when needed. The spot also had a huge display mirror with an 8 ball and the words THE SPOT painted on it, 2 disco balls, a mirror ball, 4-5 music speakers which literally made echos for miles, a strobe light, and blue moon light which shined off of peoples white clothes, and camera view in the V.I.P room so the Co-Founders can keep a good eye on everything going on. It was also noted that the kitchen was blocked off by a bungee chord to ensure no-one interrupts the chef or steals. The spot also use to serve their guests with the best food around, such as Chicken Wings, French Fries, Beer, and on occasions, shrimp and fish (Bass, or Spot Specifically).A funny thing about the spot was the process they had for making a major profit, usually using store bought food charging more, and sometimes having The Delivery Boy (Terrell Mathis) Adrian and Renee's son who was 14 years old at the time, run and deliver food from their house which was located directly across the street. It is also noted that on most major nights, the parking arrangements were very hard due to the fact that the spot was surrounded by a huge field, so most people parked either in front of the spot, or across the street at Adrians house in the front yard. (The spot also had its main events as well). The co-founders threw a party each and every Friday and Saturday Night no matter how big or small the crowd was. The latest part lasted until 6:49 A.M. the following morning making it the longest party ran in Waycross. The Co-founders also celebrated the 4th of July 3 years straight by far doing the impossible and literally making a statement. The spot also was where many parties and anniversaries, such as The Co-Founder Adrian Mathis and his current wife Renee Mathis which took place on August 23, 2003, or the other Co-Founder Elliot Mathis's birthday. Even though the spot wasn't the most extravagant, it always attracted an extremely large crowd, and changed everyones perspective of Waycross. It also started around late 2005 when "The Spot" began to lose its bang and attract fewer crowds than usual, often making it much harder to keep a good profit going. The spot was an era of excitement, but due to personal reasons, the place has been officially disbanded since early 2006

Tayport Thistle, founded in 1981, are a football team based in the town of Tayport, Scotland.
Tayport Thistle have teams in the Under 9's, Under 10's, Under 11's, Under 12's, Under 14's, Under 16's and Under 17's who all play in the D.D.Y.F.A Leagues.
The team are well respected and serve football to players from the Dundee, Tayport and St. Andrews areas.
History
Tayport Thistle Boys Club was formed in August 1981. A committee was formed with the main intention of giving the youth of Tayport, and surrounding areas, a much needed football club, Tayport Thistle Boys Club. The club was registered with the with the promise of weekly football..
Support
Hard work has been carried out to make sure Tayport Thistle are respected as such throughout the areas of Fife and Dundee. This task was accomplished by many fund raising events, such as, bingo, whist drives, and also an annual Gala Day for the public, for whom we are indebted, and without whose generous support we would have struggled to succeed. Football kit, strips, footballs and nets depended on the success of such events. Committee members, many of whom were, and still are, parents of the boys, ensured a continuation of parental interest through the years. Although the club is in Tayport, the catchment area ensures that many youngsters from nearby towns and villages such as, Newport, Wormit, Leuchars, Balmullo, St. Andrews and Dundee can benefit from the club. In the early years the club attempted to run two minibuses but this became a huge financial burden and thus the transportation dependency fell on the parents.
Club Premises
It was decided by the committee to purchase premises at great cost. The premises, a large wooden hut, known as The Church Hut, that consisted of two large rooms, one small room, plus a small area for refreshments, gave the club a welcome independence. The premises were also helpful in respect of fund raising in that we could now operate out with the dependency of others, i.e. running a few events such as jumble sales, bingo, sponsored events and occasional lending and renting out of the premises to other organisations in the area. However, due to a senseless act of vandalism, the hut was burned to the ground. Needless to say, the cost of rebuilding new premises is prohibitive. Because of this set back the progress of the club was hampered and the victims are not just the players of Tayport Thistle, who are dependent on such facilities, but also the Tayport public in general.
