The Boston Irish Tourism Association (BITA) was formed in 2000 as a cultural tourism group celebrating travel to New England and Ireland. The group markets New England’s vibrant Irish-American activities, from parades and festivals to performing arts and literary activities. It also celebrates visiting Ireland and all it has to offer, presenting travel tips, airline offers and stories about seasonal vacations, signature events and hidden gems worth exploring throughout the island.

In March, 2025 BITA unveiled a new website (irishboston.org) and its mission remains unchanged: to connect the local Irish community with the state's tourism and hospitality industries, and to celebrate the region’s longstanding connections to Ireland by encouraging reciprocal travel between New England and Ireland throughout the year. /images/wiki/206883/0abf3450d4d32271a026ac87df2a6fc8.webp
