Dance Monkeyboy is an Internet meme and a viral video of Microsoft's CEO Steve Ballmer being introduced at Microsoft's 25th anniversary party. The video features Ballmer dancing and screaming wildly to by Gloria Estefan.
The video has circulated on-line since 2001 and has been used as the basis for a parody Zune advertisement entitled "welcome to the so-so" and done in the style of the iPod silhouette ads. .
The video was also parodied in a first season episode of the American animated television series Metalocalypse. The episode was titled "Murdering Outside the Box".
Artist Digital Droo mashed up this video with a clip of Ballmer chanting "developers" to produce the song "Monkey Developers."
This video was prominently featured in the film Surplus: Terrorized into Being Consumers.

A stare down refers to a situation where two people stare at one another without interruption.
Most commonly a stare down is a contest, popular with children or people on psychedelic drugs, where two people stare at one another trying not to blink. The first one to blink is considered the loser of the game.
Or, a stare down can refer to a situation where two people stare at one another without speaking in an intense situation, such as a fight or argument. In an argument it often follows a question, where one person is waiting for an answer and the other person is not immediately sure how to respond.
In a fight or potential fight, a stare down can be the stand-off period where the opponents are waiting for one or the other to make the first move, and often times this period will be intentionally delayed until someone breaks up the fight. In this meaning of the term it doesn't matter if either party blinks or not, since unlike the children's game, the staring in and of itself is not the point of the situation.

Outsourcing
Outsourcing is subcontracting a process, such as product design or manufacturing, to a third-party company.
Outsourcing became part of the business lexicon during the 1980s.
The decision to outsource is often made in the interest of lowering firm costs, redirecting or conserving energy directed at the competencies of a particular business, or to make more efficient use of labor, capital, technology and resources.
Offshoring
Offshoring describes the relocation of business processes from one country to another. This includes any business process such as production, manufacturing, or services.
Offshoring can be seen in the context of either production offshoring or services offshoring. After its accession to the WTO in 2001, China emerged as a prominent destination for production offshoring. After technical progress in telecommunications improved the possibilities of trade in services, India became a country leading in this domain though many parts of the world are now emerging as offshore destinations.
The economic logic is to reduce costs. If some people can use some of their skills more cheaply than others, those people have the comparative advantage. The idea is that countries should freely trade the items that cost the least for them to produce.
