The Gwalior Khasgi Bazar fire was a large building fire that began in the early hours of 10 April 2025 in the Khasgi Bazar (Chawri/Chawri Bazar) area of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. The blaze originated in a thread-manufacturing unit in the basement of the Kalā Gopal multi-storey building and was intensified by the explosion of multiple LPG cylinders stored on the premises. Two firefighters sustained burn injuries while fighting the fire; there were no reported fatalities. The incident prompted a multi-agency response and an investigation into possible safety violations.
