Zimiti Zimiti is a wireless technology for communicating at very low power over ranges of up to 1km. This new technology delivers low power, portable, medium-range wireless control and monitoring. The protocols used in this technology are proprietary and automatically and adaptively enable the low power, long battery life, range and security of the signal to be achieved in a wide variety of environments and applications. The key focus in the development of innovative wireless applications using this technology is the need to exchange information securely and wirelessly between very small devices over ranges of up to 1km with high integrity even with a bit error rate of up to 10 . The technology incorporates strong mutual authentication to ensure only authorised devices communicate with each other. Zimiti’s unique capabilities are created using an intelligent wireless technology platform based on licence exempt bands. The technology is an enabler for developers to enhance functionality of existing products and create innovative and differentiated new product offerings or open new markets.
