"Marmadukiverse" is a word coined by Marmaduke blogger Joe Mathlete for the fictional universe occupied by the characters of the Marmaduke newspaper comic strip.
The Marmadukiverse canon is restricted to the syndicated strips by Brad Anderson, in contrast to the common practice of extending a fictional universe to include the work of several authors revolving around the same characters, such as the Star Wars Universe or the Star Trek Universe. Though the reasoning for this stricter definition may simply be the relative lack of Marmaduke fiction not written by Brad Anderson.
