Zaheed Sabur is the first Bangladeshi principal engineer at Google and also the Bangladeshi Google director. Personal life Zaheed was born in Saudi Arabia where his father was teaching at King Faisal University. He along with his family returned to Bangladesh at the age of eight and he took admission at Monipur High School, Dhaka. Later he admitted to Oxford International School, Dhaka. He has completed his graduation from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) with CGPA 4, which was a record in the university's history. Career Zaheed Sabur started his career as a software engineer at Google's backend system development project in 2007 at India's Bangalore office and six months later in the California office. in May 2019, he was promoted as principal engineer and also a director at Google's Zurich office. |
