Nadia Samdani (born in 12 December 1981) was born in Britain and spent her early years there. She later moved to Bangladesh with her family. She has gained the reputation as an avid art collector over the past years. Coming from a family of art collectors, her passion for art started at a young age. She started building up her collection from the age of 22. Career She is currently the CEO & Trustee of Samdani Art Foundation, a non-profit art infrastructure development organization. Philanthropy She is the founder and Director of the Dhaka Art Summit, the Summit was organized with the intention to promote the art scene of Bangladesh to the international art arena. Personal life She is married to Rajeeb Samdani. Over the years the couple has built up a collection of Modern & Contemporary international art as well as Bangladeshi Art. |
