Z-SAT: Zombie Survival Aptitude Test, written by American author Casey B. Bassett and published in 2011, is a test dealing with the potentiality of a fictional zombie outbreak. The book is arranged like a standardized test by stating different types of questions for the reader to answer. Z-SAT was several different question formats, such as, true and false, multiple choice, situational illustrations, and a personal evaluation. Types of Questions The Z-SAT: Zombie Survival Aptitude Test questions equal a total of 1230 points. The book contains five different question formats, they are fact based multiple choice, situational multiple choice, situational illustration multiple choice, true and false, and a personal evaluation. Fact Based Multiple Choice Fact Based Multiple Choice: These types of questions are based on general facts and knowledge. Situational Multiple Choice Situational Multiple Choice: These types of questions test your ability to respond appropriately in a given situation. Situational Illustration Multiple Choice Situational Illustration Multiple Choice: These types of questions test your ability to look at a collection of different objects or situations and determining the best choice. True and False True and False: These types of questions determine your ability to identify one incorrect answer from one correct answer. Personal Evaluation Personal Evaluation: This section of the test evaluates your physical attributes and assigns a percentage according to your strengths and weaknesses. The first four types are questions that tests the readers mental and reasoning abilities. The last type, the personal evaluation, tests the readers physical attributes and characteristics. Grading Scale The grading scale in the zombie survival aptitude test is set up in the standard format: Expert: 100% - 90% (1.0 - .90) Professional: 89% - 80% (.89 - .80) Novice: 79% - 70% (.79 - .70) Amateur: 69% - 60% (.69 - .60) Minor: 59% and Under (.59 and Under) The higher the score the reader received in the book, the higher the odds that they will survive a fictional zombie outbreak. The major of the question purposed in this book are based on different types of weapons, vehicles, survival techniques, etc. Other questions are focused on the deductive reason skills of the reader.
