All New Electronics Self Teaching Guide

All New Electronics Self Teaching Guide, by Harry Kybett and Earl Boysen, is a self study guide for electronics circuits. The third edition was released in 2008.
Overview
This book is intended for the student or hobbyist who has an understanding of the basic concepts of electronics and wants to gain an in-depth understanding of electronics circuits. The All New Electronics Self Teaching Guide covers the concepts and equations need to understand the circuits used most often in analog electronics including transistor circuits, oscillators, filters, transformers and power supplies.
A study guide formate is used. The authors introduce the concepts or equations related to a particular circuit, then ask the reader to answer questions, the authors then provide answers for the questions, allowing the reader to gauge their comprehension of the topic.
This method allows readers to develop their ability to calculate the component values required to make various circuits work, or to calculate the value of circuit parameters, such as current, voltage or frequency. The text clearly explains the concepts of each circuit and the text, circuit diagrams, equations, questions and answers are woven together to create a very effective guide to understanding electronic circuits.
The book includes:
* A review of basic DC electronics.
* A review of basic AC electronics.
* A step by step introduction to the concepts and equations for each type of circuit.
* Additional problems for each type of circuit that provides practice in the application of equations to that circuit.
* A question/answer formate (sicsic) allowing the reader to immediately gauge their understanding of the concepts and equations.
* A final test to allow the reader to gauge their retention of the information.
