Yoel Ganor

Yoel Ganor is the chairman of Ulpan-Or International, a center for Hebrew studies and Israeli culture.
Early life and education
He is a graduate of the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and Henley Business School, and holds a PHD degree in Industrial Engineering along with degrees in Electronic Engineering and Business Administration.
Career

He has worked in numerous Hi-Tech companies such as Intel, Tracor and Lockheed-Martin in various professional and managerial positions. He has also been involved in founding start-up companies and holds several international patents in the field of electroluminescence. Over the years Yoel has supported his wife, Orly Ganor, in conducting research in the area of language acqusition, providing technological aspects to the research. Together they have developed a unique rapid language acquisition. He is an avid student of Torah, and publishes his Hebrew insights on the Torah portion (Parashat Hashavuah) online on a weekly basis. Together with Orly, he published a book on Torah insights, Hebrew from Insight Out, which he also designed as an iPad App. Recently Yoel Ganor published additional applications in the field of studying Hebrew for the iOS and Android platforms.
