Mark Turkov was born in Odessa, Ukraine. He received his undergraduate and Masters Degrees in Nuclear Dissymmetry and Radiation Defense from the Odessa Institute of Technology.

He worked in the Odessa City Hospital for nearly twelve years in the Radiation/ X-ray Field.
He now resides in Manhattan.

Over the past thirteen years, Mr. Mark Turkov has been actively working on different administrative positions in the US Managed Health Care Industry.
He is a certified Medical Billing and Claims specialist trained at Stratford Career Institute, receiving a diploma in Business Management.
He is qualified and experienced in all aspects of Managed Health Care: patients' needs, providers' difficulties, and HMO's and PPO's goals.

Mr. Mark Turkov is the creator and developer of the unique online project:
Medconsole.com (http://healthproviders.webexone.com) a consulting company whose mission is to assist medical providers in their Training, Billing, Credentialing, and Collections efforts.

Mr. Mark Turkov is also a published writer. His novel, "Divisible by Four" (in Russian) was originally published in 1993 in the Russian Weekly "Courier" (Israel), and republished in a 452-page book format in 2004 in New York.
"Divisible by Four" literarily predicts the Twin-Towers WTC annihilation by the Muslims terrorists. His latest publication, "MARSHMALLOWS IN CHOCOLATE," published in New York (2004), is a collection of short stories about romance, sex, humor, and the Russian/Jewish exodus from the USSR to the outside world. Author himself also created the graphics and collages within the book.

Mr. Turkov is also known as an author of numerous articles in the US Russian Media.
