Yan Zhiyu

Yan Zhiyu (born 1968 in Beijing) is a noted interior designer and architect from China.
Biography
“Yan Zhiyu ” was born May 18, 1968 in Beijing, China. he comes from a family with a very artistic background. His grandfather (YAN HEMING) was one of the founders of Silent Film in China.He received a degree in Interior Design from the Tsinghua University before moving to study at the Edinburgh College of Art in Edinburgh, UK.
During college his design was used "rubbish" idea to create a fancy leisure space in 2004. The project called “Restaurant of Jeffrey ” he joined RIBA to be a member in 2004. He not only an interior designer but also is a design editor currently work with MPY a design and UK report point for <Interior Architecture of China> to successfully introduce UK excellent Architectural design to China and to promote Culture of China and Culture of the United Kingdom, i.e. Dunblane Centre,which is a place for memory of Dunblane massacre / Zaha Hadid London project as Guang Zhou Opera House and Zaragoza Bridge Pavilion at Zaragoza Expo 2008/colour design apply in Edinburgh landscape
After 2006 he started to delve into research about the interior design with lighting feature in Edinburgh. As the environment of lighting design and space of interior design feeling both are the most importance section. And also drop lighting and space with dreaming to Leisure Design.in 2009 one of his work joining
IF INTERNATIONAL DESIGN COMPETITION in Germany has been chosen top 300 from 3200 design works/39 countries also been presented CeBIT on 3-8 March 2009.
