Sebastian Winnett (born 1984, Halifax, West Yorkshire, England) is an English artist who lives and works in London. His work has been exhibited at Somerset House as part of the 2008 exhibition On Time in conjunction with the Courtauld Institute of Art. He briefly became the subject of controversy after his piece "Operation Bum Injection" was removed from the Window Gallery on Charing Cross Road after only one day due to complaints about allegedly obscene content. His performance work often involves elaborate stunts and convincing personality changes. Winnett was educated at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, where he was a member of St Edmund Hall; and Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London.
