Xylophone Tuning Company

Xylophone Tuning Company (also known as XTC) is an American indie rock band, formed in 2011 in Landenberg, Pennsylvania.
History
Formation
The band formed as a result of the four members being high school friends centered around Landenberg, Pennsylvania. In early 2011, they met at the house of Andrew Hiles after discovering that they each played instruments that together could form a band. Later that year, they performed at their first live event - a musical festival in Kennett Square known as Huezofest. During this time, the band began to write original material to later be recorded for their debut album. The band spent the following summer writing and recording original songs. In early fall of the same year, the band headlined their first live event - a group show consisting of five local bands, as well as participating in a band competition located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. On 28 October 2011, they headlined a Halloween concert, the admission funds for which were used to benefit UNICEF.
Album
Currently, the band is in the process of writing, recording, and self-producing their first release - a full-length album - which is scheduled to be released December of 2011.
