Be Persecuted is a Chinese black metal band. They are currently signed to No Colours Records. Biography Be Persecuted plays the style of black metal known as 'depressive' or 'suicidal' black metal. The group formed in late 2005 and released their first demo the following year. The bands debut full-length was released in 2007 to mixed, although mostly positive reviews. Be Persecuted is notable for not only being one of the few Chinese black metal bands, but also having a female lead vocalist, which is uncommon for the genre.
