Serenaide Of sorrow (also known As S.O.S) Is A Alternative metal Band from San antonio Texas. They started off in 2005 And Are currentley working on a full length album titled Thunderstorm. They have toured in the 2007 Warped tour on the Kevin say's stage.
History
The band started in 2005 With singer/ Rythm guitarist Jeffrey Lubin, And former Drummer Joshua Williams. The band started Out named Irihans. As soon as they started A bass player Naseem Davis Toured with them Across texas. In 2007 The band Changed their name To L-E-N-R (Love embers Never right). After that they released a demo tape named N. A few Months after Naseem Left the band Leaving them With No Bassist. They had to give up The chance for the taste of chaos tour. After all this happened They Changed their name To 9Lives. No one wanted them to play any shows or go on tour. This caused Josh to quit. Afterwards Mason Left the band due to His Death of his parents. He is re-thinking of joining again in 2009, But in the moment he is working on a Band known as Three Enemies. Jeffrey was left alone With know one till the summer of 2008, When his friend Erickson Holden Called him up and asked if he can be in the band as the bassist/Keyboardist. Then Jeffrey Lubin called up Nick Zook who called Michael. Then a few minutes a full band was put together. Michael Trevino changed their name to Serenaide of sorrow. They Are currentley working on a new album. And EP.
2009-Present
On Janurary 14th the band signed to Hardcorestation records, Along with Kafkaesk and The tragic
Serenaide of sorrow confirmed that they will be touring in the warped tour 2009. Also that theyre EP As the rain fails will be re-released April 13. Also that Their first demo Shine Down is Going to Be Digitally Remastered to their new album Thunderstorm.
They have recentley Done Collabarations with Local band Verisimilitude And Kafkaesk.
On 2009 The day the band released a song titled In this war. Wich was Tooken off by the bands record company Due to Uncompletness
On janurary 14th Jeffrey released there first demo in 2 years. Jeffrey said it wasnt done by the actual band just him and his cousin and nick.
The band anounced on their myspace Feb 1st that there old record comapny Hardcore station ditched them and that they got a new record company.
They are now signed to the alumni corporation
