Workato

Workato is a cloud-based enterprise automation and integration platform company headquartered in Mountain View, California. Workato is considered an integration platform as a service (iPaaS) which connects its clients' enterprise software applications across functions such as finance, marketing, sales, customer service, DevOps, and IT operations.
History
Workato was founded by Gautham Viswanathan, Harish Shetty, Dimitris Kogias and Vijay Tella in 2013. In July 2017, Workato raised $10M in Series A funding. The funding round was led by Storm Ventures and including Salesforce Ventures and Workday Ventures.
Workato raised an additional $25M in its December 2018 Series B funding round. Battery Ventures, Storm Ventures, Workday Ventures, and ServiceNow participated in the funding round, bringing total investment to $40M. Workato launched a major platform update at the same time.
In November 2019, Workato raised an additional $70M in its Series C round of funding, bringing its total funding to $111M. The funding round was led by Redpoint Ventures and included Geodesic Capital and Norwest Venture Partners. Workato also received the Atlassian Codegeist "Best Integration Platform" Award for its Atlassian integrations, and the CRN "Tech Innovator" Award for Workbot. Workato was also named a 2016 Gartner Cool Vendor and recognized in Forrester Research's July 2016 iPaaS report. Workato was also featured in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for iPaaS.
