William Edward Fraser

William Edward “Bill” Fraser (born May 15, 1979) is a teacher at Schaumburg High School in Schaumburg, Illinois. He is running as an independent in Illinois's 8th congressional district for the United States House of Representatives.
Early life and education
Fraser was born May 15, 1979 in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He grew up in Schaumburg, Illinois and Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Fraser attended Hoffman Estates High School and graduated in 1997. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Illinois State University in 2001 and a Master of Arts in Teaching at National Louis University in 2006.
As an Independent, Fraser's petition period for signatures to place him on the General Election ballot begins March 29, 2016. Fraser needs 7,705-12,327 signatures from registered voters in Illinois's 8th congressional district to appear on the ballot.<ref name=":0" /><ref name=":1" /><ref name=":3" /><ref name=":4" />
Personal life
Bill is married to Christina and together they raise their two young children, Josyln, 6, and Joey, 4.<ref name=":0" /><ref name=":1" /><ref name=":2" /><ref name=":3" />
