Alexander Falk

Alexander Falk (born August 13, 1967) is the co-founder and CEO of Altova GmbH and co-creator of XMLSpy XML editor and development environment. He is a member of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) XML Schema working group that defined the XML Schema 1.0 specification, and the Object Management Group (OMG).
Falk published articles in several publications, including Redmond Developer News and EContent Magazine.
Background and personal life
Falk was born in Vienna, Austria, moved to Linz, Austria in 1978, and attended high school at , where he graduated with the class of 1985. He received a Diplom-Ingenieur degree (the German equivalent of a Master of Science) in semiconductor physics from Johannes Kepler Universitat in Linz, Austria, in 1992.
Falk continued to live in Austria until 2001, when he relocated to the United States. He is married to Nora Falk, a textile artist, and has two children: Calvin and Swanee.<ref name="profil"/>
