Chris Rothfuss

Christopher Rothfuss (born 1972) is an American scientist and politician.

He is an instructor at the University of Wyoming, in Laramie, Wyoming, and a Democratic candidate for United States Senate in Wyoming's Class II seat for the general election of 2008.

Rothfuss is the hopeful for the 6-year term for Democratic nomination against Republican Mike Enzi in November 2008, while Nick Carter and Keith Goodenough are running for the four-year seat in the special election, to face incumbent John Barrasso.
Biography
In 1994, Dr. Rothfuss graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International studies. During that time, he was a member of the UW Honors Program and presented an Honors thesis on sustainable development. He was also a successful member of the nationally competitive UW Debate Team throughout his undergraduate career was the Debate Team captain as a senior.

In 1996, Dr. Rothfuss graduated from the UW Chemical Engineering program in 1996 with a Master of Science degree, having studied under Professor Chang-Yul Cha.
