Wil Emling

William "Wil" Emling (born February 23, 1984) is an American art broker, attorney, art collector, and environmentalist.
Emling has acted as a proxy in buying art of British artist Banksy.
Emling was also present for the world premiere of the film Exit Through the Gift Shop which occurred at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, on 24 January which has further fueled rumors and speculation of his involvement and possible association. Banksy created 10 street artworks around Park City and Salt Lake City to tie in with the screening.Its believed that Emling had acquired several of the pieces during this time.
The artworks were marked for removal in compliance with the city's policies in regards to graffiti.
Early life and education
Emling was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
He attended and graduated from Columbus North High School in 2003, and holds degrees from the University of Utah, and Colorado Mountain College. While a student at the University of Utah, Emling served as PR Director for the University ski and snowboard club.
