Will Thompson

Willie Arnold Thompson (born May 28, 1983) is an American actor, producer and award winning writer. Thompson landed several leads in plays, hosted events and has been in a few TV pilots Matadors, Pleading Guilty and a TV movie There Are No Children Here. He landed a role in season 2 of NBC's Chicago Fire, the film The Dilemma and several others. He also has done several T.V. commercials and some radio skits as well. With his up and coming success, Thompson learned early that the sacrifice was more than he anticipated.
Early life
Will Thompson was born May 28, 1983 in Chicago he is the second of 4 children. He attend Oak Park and River Forest High School and grew up in middle class Oak Park, a suburb on the west side of Chicago. His family and the situations surrounding them would be what dominated his acting career. Thompson knew he wanted to be an actor since the age of 12. With interest in music and a natural talent of being able to play the piano by ear, Thompson pursued music in Los Angeles. After realizing that it was more to entertaining then just music, he moved back to Chicago and went full throttle with acting. After enrolling in Act One Conservatory, The Green Room Chicago and Second City, Thompson attended classes, acting sessions and practiced with multiple acting coaches to perfect his craft.
Personal life
Through a journey of trying to reaching super star status Thompson started a production company Urban Visionary Films which he has worked with writer, director and producer John Carl Buechler in a film collaboration which won an Award. The blockbuster potential has also had setbacks as well, with three major back surgeries in the year 2008, the second one being life threatening, Thompson went to Triton college but didn't obtain a degree.
